The final election count, with 608 uncontested votes cast, was 388 voting in favor of AAUP representation. Akron-AAUP won the election with 64% of the vote representing 58% percent of all eligible voters. National AAUP representatives tell us this is the largest margin of victory in the past 20 years of campaigning.
